About the Classes
Roma International Faux Finish Training Center offers both Basic and Advanced Classes in faux finish work.These faux finish workshops are designed for the following:
- Homeowners wanting to enhance their home's value and beauty
- Painters and contractors wishing to add faux finishes to their list of business services to increase their income
- People who would like to do faux finishes for a second job and additional income
- Artists and creative people who want to learn this skill for its own sake
The Roma International Training Center is proud to offer extensive training for the decorative painting professional, working with the revolutionary "Aqua Systems" to provide each student with the confidence and the ability, to create finishes of unparalleled beauty. Our intention is to equip our students with the knowledge and materials necessary to succeed in this highly competitive market.
We are convinced that the Aqua System is the most important development in the industry. These products allow the decorative artisan to use traditional finishing methods in a comprehensive, water -base system, without losing open time or the luminescence and clarity of color. With over one hundred products, the Aqua System line enables the trained professional to create a nearly inexhaustible range of finishes. We have been working exclusively with the Aqua system products for several years and have developed extensive product knowledge with on-the-job experience. This experience has proven to be an invaluable resource to our students in addressing the many aspects of completing projects in real life situations. Our training, techniques, and systems are unique, and have been developed with the same standards we have dedicated to our work in the field. It is this dedication to our craft that we bring to our students, in order to give them a solid foundation upon which to build a successful future in faux finishing.
This is a two-day class for beginners. Cost is $400. The class meets from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and includes continental breakfast. All supplies are furnished. Airfare and accommodations are not included.
2. Advanced Faux Finishes
This is a five-day class that lightly covers the basics and emphasizes advanced techniques. Although the Basic class is not required, you are encouraged to go through it prior to taking this class to get the most out of your training.
Cost is $1,250.00. The class meets from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and includes continental breakfast. All supplies are furnished. Airfare and accommodations are not included.

This is a 4-day class that meets from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm to accommodate work schedules. Cost is $480.00. Everything covered in the Basic Faux Finishes class is also covered here.
4. Super Faux Saturday Class (Basic)
This class meets Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm to accommodate work schedules. Cost is $100.00. It is aimed at homeowners and beginners, and gives an introduction to faux finishes.
5. STENCIL-IT YOU'RE A PRO!
We teach you how a stencil which your client has chosen can be transformed into a perfect work of art using different colors,
textures, and designs on walls, floors, and ceilings giving the desired finish and structure. This is a 3-day class that
meets 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Cost is $600.
6. LusterStone, Venetian Plaster and Exotic Skins
This class goes in depth to explore the beauty and versatility of these three finishes.
